Quest for Heartfire

Adult Fantasy based on Greek Mythology
Current Status:
My debut novel in the adult fantasy genre Quest for Heartfire is based on characters from my Goddess Artemis gig with the online magazine In the Pantheon.
I am currently in the process of re-drafting and editing this book.
Synopsis:
Sayeh, the beloved Dragon, of Artemis is on the cusp of life and death after losing her heartfire in the battle against the powerful Titan, Ourea. Now, Artemis must race against time in a Quest to find Sayeh’s heartfire – the essence of her life force and bring it back to her before it is too late.

My debut novel, a Psychological Thriller, titled One Summer Day is a book based on the characters from a short story I wrote sometime in 2015. I am currently in the process of querying literary agents for this book.
Synopsis:
As an Indian American woman in Dubai, Anita Walsh knows not all prisons have bars. When she grasps an unexpected opportunity to escape her marriage, she embarks on an impromptu trip with her 3-year-old son. When the trip becomes an escape plan, Anita must face the consequences of her decision or pay a heavy price for her freedom.

Current Status:
A Forgotten Path tells the story of Claire and Andrew Walker. The idea for this Contemporary/Emotional drama was inspired by a short story I wrote back in 2015. I recently finished the process of outlining for the book.

Synopsis:
Andrew Walker’s life revolves around his guitar, college, girls, and above all his mother, Claire Walker. For him, family meant his mother. It was always the two of them against the world. Andrew’s world comes crashing down when he learns of his adoption and of his extended family members in Syria. Andrew decides to travel to the war-torn country to know more about his birth parents. Will he find what he seeks or lose more than he knew he had?
